My memoirs are fading

Of this man I am thinking

So I just walk around in the rain

Kicking a can

This man said to me

"Grab life by the hands"

See this man was no man

He was never there for me

I bet he doesn't feel guilty

I ask myself

"Why do people do the things they do?"

I cry when I see friends hanging out with their fathers

I get mad when I hear a kid complains about their dad being "unfair to them"

I say to you

"Be happy with your parents"

For me I always open the door and forgive my father

But lately it's been lies to me

My heart it can't bear the pain

So I ignore thinking about him

So my  memoirs of him is fading
