Extinguished

Sun, 07/14/2013 - 18:01 -- JianTao

Sparks had caught,

Heavy love arose,

Time traveled away,

A rift then grows.

Flames lick the corridors

of my soul,

Warming me up,

Then burning me whole.

As I shriek under the embers,

I watched you walk away.

That's when I realized

I'd be extinguished today.

Cremated into

a blaze's final form,

I lay in an iron pit,

my true form left torn.

So many memories

Blow away in the wind.

It's time to accept that

this is the end.

Ashes remain,

Ashes remain...

We all fell down.
