Even in Neverland- a look at Captain Hook

The boy flies without a care,

forgetful of a future he once knew

yet now, he chooses to live unaware.

Wish as I could to change his fate,

for if he continues this way

he will follow my steps until this day.

I simply ask he grow to be different from me.

Pirate is not a title one ever asks to be,

it is thrown at those as foolish as me.

Perhaps this boy will one day see,

I mean no harm, I just dream for him to be,

more than this island, more than me.

Time, once my freind, is now my greatest fear.

We all grow up someday, even here.

Perhaps if Pan knew that his fate was my own,

he would finally leave this hell and find home.
