Eternally

The "Looking Glass Self" says that how others view us is how we view ourselves.

It's amazing to think that we see ourselves through the eyes of someone else.

It's scary actually, to think that we can't judge ourselves by "ourselves".

Who I was a year ago, is not who I am today.

I know this because people treat me differently today than they did a year ago today.

A year ago, I was scared, at a new high school, in a new state.

Today I'm a singer, a dancer, a laugher, in a new mental state.

I'd tell you how I got there, but truth be told, there is no path to take.

One, I found God, and he gave me joy that I could never fake.

So I have decided to commit my life to him, because he gave his son for me.

Truthfully, there's no one else I'd rather be, than a child of God, living eternally.
