If we follow some of our base instincts
We may also be opening the door to
a whole realm of unwelcome spirits
And to energies we are unprepared to
deal with in our lives.
To pursue life
without his blessing it
Is folly and dangerous
It is going towards an energy field
of spiritual forces that are larger
than any of us could imagine.
Who can reason better with us
than we can reason with ourselves.
In a verse last night it read
Those who exalteth themselves shall
be abased, those who humbleth
themselves shall be exalted.
But what a contrary world we
live in Jesus.
A world that cannot help being swept
into the convulsing body politic
