The Encapsulating World

Words spring from the page

I am encapsulated in a boundless realm

Reality dissociates into the inevitable end

I am delivered into the arms of comfort

The appealing illusion of vitality appears

I am drawn into the fountain of liveliness

Free to search the endless depths of my mind

I am transported to the Utopia of my own creation

Tragedy unfolds as the illusion fades

I am now confined to my limited notions

Wisdom can no longer be absorbed

I am back at the edge, afraid to fly

Perhaps the illusion never left

I am thrust into the world of the unknown

Sulking under the shadows of reality

I am alive in the words I encounter
