Emerging

They say that you're brought into the world crying

the first to hear you were the Dr, nurses, & and mom

Now that we're grown, hearing this might be horrifying

But your mom cried tears of joy just like the day you were leaving to prom

Sickness is something she made sure stayed away from you

If anyone dare make a wrong move, her ninja moves would surface

As time passed you grew

But every moment spent with mom was a bliss

The adult life is nearby

Yet I still need to learn more things

I'm not ready to turn into a butterfly

But it's too late, I've already grown wings

My mom would need to be on the island with me because her knowledge surpasses mine

She's the reason I would know how to stay alive
