Embrace Diversity

I think I'm a good example of diversity. While I go to school like everybody else, have friends and relationships like everyone else, I am my own individual self.

Being quadriplegic due to cerebral palsy makes me unlike other people. At the same time I'm different from others with the same challenging condition.

My form of CP is nicer on me than other people who have it, not having the full effect of this type. And yet I don't think that I'm special, I think I was just born super, super lucky.

I want to show others that even though people like me aren't like everybody else, we aren't bad and are mentally and physically capable. We still have a world of potential.

Me personally, I want to inspire people, even if it's just one person a day. One person who will say, "If he can do it, I have no excuse for being lazy".

We can change the future, one person at a time. The goal for all of us should be to accept each other's differences and embrace diversity.
