East of Eden

What’s the use of lacrimating hallow tears
that spill over past and future worries?
Past and Future have gone astray,
despite your dismay
have you forgotten?

Past never was and future will never be,
so let us enjoy a living dance upon dead minds.

It is only but moments, like the living -
and only immeasurable emotions that experience dying,
we live and breathe the clouds of evanescent discovery.

We cannot create or destroy something as torn pages,
they are and always will be,

One piece
the end to the beginning,
and the signature that entails your involuntary participation.
Yet, do not let that little mind worry so
You will always be the insignificant folly of many.

So why not allow the ego free?
If I leave only know that I welcome Him,
as he awaits so patiently for me there,
East of Eden.
