Dust To Dust
If I reach up
To touch the sky
And grab a shining star
I'll crush it in my tiny hands
Add it to the ashes of loss
And blow them from my shaking palm
A breeze to carry
The dust far away
Through the feilds
Of flowers and wheat
Trickling through cascades of night
Twinkling, little specks of light
Across the universe
And into beyond
The dust drifts
Through the ages
Still my eyes can find it here
A lighted, swirling, sparkling sphere

Our world
