succombing under the waves,

grasping,

reaching,

searching for a lift

for something to push me over the swirling waters.

ice pouring through my veins.

fire pouring out from my eyes.

my bones,

my muscle

become fragile.

my skin,

nothing but a blank numb.

memories pushing,

shoving me further in.

i'm drowning

in the depths of despair.
