Drivers Take Heed and Ignore

Years of crushing loss and death.

She lost a son, he lost a brother.

When will you stop, take a deep breath?

Stop to think, before she loses another.

To remember, before he too loses baby brother.

What was the cause, the need?

What was the cause of death, Grieving Mother,

Murder? Depression? American Greed?

No. What did the driver heed?

A call, a text, a Twitter retweet.

Enforce Hands-Free Driving— a brilliant thought.

Then Grieving Mother would not be distraught.
