Dreams
It was weird,
One moment I am in my dorm room falling asleep
The next, we are talking and laughing.
It seemed so real,
You were so close, so real.
I remember all the times we spent together,
Talking for hours and having fun.
I was so little then,
Only a child.
While you,
You were my grandmother.
We played with toys and games,
And I even came to see you when we lived so many states away.
I was so happy,
But then I awoke.
The loud beeping from my phone across the room was the culprit,
Who took you from me again.
