don't call me your brother

Location

don't call me your brother

when you smile in my face

talk behind my back, hide behind a mask

showing your true colors

by saying i'm just another nigga from the block

don't call me your brother

by nodding your head like you know me

you give daps and hugs to a goof that came home from going away to jail

why you don't give daps to someone who came back home from war

who risk his life fighting for our liberation

or how about someone who came home from college with a scholarship

which means free government money

only money you know how to count is drug money

don't call me your brother

when you say what's up

but you damn well know

you forever stay try to plot

of creeping up on my girl

all because she said no-why??

you claim to have money

but all the weed you smoke

left you broke

don't call me your brother

when you lecture fabrications about leaving the hood

when you fail, you blame the white man for your failures

same corner, same block , same neck of the wood

you don't see 3 blocks beyond your own surroundings

don't call me your brother

where we may speak the same dialect

as i move forward to new horizons

stay trying to holla at women looking like a crackhead derelect

don't call me your brother

where every woman in your eyes is trash

where every woman in my eyes is my treasure

remember

she is someone's mother, sister, aunt, cousins, and

her being herself

don't call me your brother

where we say we bleed red

but yet you look at me with disgust like kkk

who degrade negroes because we are dark

the sad part is that you are a shade lighter than me

if i'm a negrito, you are too

may not look that way to you one the outside

you are sure as hell that way on the inside

don't call me you brother

when you don't know how to articulate the meaning of my brother

you know how give a dissertation about calling somebody my nigga

don't you ever call me my brother

if you don't mean it

just go ahead and keep it moving

understand that if you overstep boundaries

and cross that line

not only the ends justifies the means

the world will know who i am
