A Disclaimer for Your Heart

You look at me as your answer,

baby I'm telling you I'm your reason to run.

I'm not the one to build with, and I'm not that one night of fun.

You then ask, "who are you?" I am that one in the middle,

Who puts the biggest amount of pain and confusion on you.

That empty feeling towards me, only proves the previous

Statement to be true.

So, here's what we normally do.

The constant is me, the control is you, so there is a different

Name, race, and face that replaces you.

That morning after, I escape out of your life like the morning breeze.

But my essence returns from the tears at night because of me.

Please take heed, open your eyes and take in this vision please.

Because I am bestowing unto you a disclaimer for your heart.

So please stop now... don't waste time trying to start.
