Diolch/thank you

Thank you, for loving me,

For asking how I am,

You made me feel important

To feel like I just, can.

Thank you, for the opportunity,

The chance to dream,

Of a better life,

Or so it would seem.

Thank you, for seeing me,

And taking me as I am,

I know that im not perfect,

You appeared to give a damn.

Thank you, for waking me up,

And helping me realise,

That dreams are pointless

Amongst life’s little lies!

Thank you, for ignoring me,

You helped me understand,

How insignificant I am,

Like one grain of sand.

Thank you, for silence,

You helped me to grow,

I realise I’ll always love you

But I have to let go!
