Dimly Lighted Room

Fri, 01/17/2014 - 20:17 -- Oxeford

Dimly lighted room

Frustration on the keys

Pondering which words of rhythm I should seize

Silence pervades me

Naught on the mind

Within this space I am confined

Suddenly a thought

Blissful as the wind

Across my face I grinned

With mad speed

Ideas on the screen

Taking one final sip of caffeine

Lines finally arranged

Meaning obvious to assume

Taking place in a dimly lighted room
