Dearest William awoke on the eleventh day of September,
With excitement and hope but he would not remember.
"Are you ready to face today?" He'd say,
"Only if you come home on time today"

Dearest William approached the Trade Center.
He did not know this was his last time he'd enter.
"And how are you this morning?"
"I'm just grand, Mrs. Bouring!"

Dearest William felt the floor seem to fall away.
All of these people around him felt this too that day.
"Where is my husband? What has he done?"
"He's my only love! He's far too young!"

Dearest William awoke on the eleventh day of September,
with excitement and hope but he would not remember

Dearest William saw a great light, shining on his face.
This man has saved him and brought him to grace.
"Is this all I get? Is this all my life?"
"You are in heaven now, don't worry, you'll watch over your wife."

Dearest William watched over her with much love,
Until the day that she'd finally rise up above.
"I love you dearest William, are you with me right now?"
"I'm with you Clarissa, forever and always and someday you'll know how."
