As The Days Go By

As The Days Go By,

Children laugh and play, later grow up to run and hide away

The ghetto streets are the gateway to hell, soon they will grow only to hear the prison bells.

Some played in the mud, threw bugs. Later grow to bang Crips and Bloods.

Out society has accepted this act of violence thoughout the years, people living in fear.

It starts with help in which we can't reach, so somebody please help us teach.

These kids are our future, eduation with full of bloopers

But nothing will never change for our love turns to rage

As time fly and dreams glare in the sky

we sit here and let our life dry

As The Days Go By.
