The Dawning

The Dawning- An Original Poem by Catelin Haight

Time marches on,

Or so I'm told

This Body is young

But this Soul is growing old.

In the mirror of this mind

A youthful face appears

Graying with age

In accordance to its fears.

This life- Just begining,

Has seemed to reach its end

With the dawning of an age

When Old and New must blend.

Time marches on,

Or so I'm told

This Body is young

But this Soul is growing old.
