Dancer's Heart, in the perspective of an elderly woman

Location

As I aged
It faded fast
Although I wished
It would last

One foot forward
One foot back
Now memories are
Of the past

Piano, Forte
Fast, Slow
What I did was stop
Instead of go

A dress and tuxedo
Never tank top and tee
The time of my life
Was all happy and glee

Now it’s all gone
I can walk no more
So now my life
Is exclusively bore

I wish for restoration
For my body and all
The dancers out there
Who hear music's call

What it'd be like
If we could all dance forever
Youth unexpirable
Sad days would come never
