The Curtain

Little, can one scrutinize the details of the face.

Simply due to the fact that none can see beneath the surface;

the truth hidden behind the curtain of semi-permeable membrane.

Behind this layer the real stage lies,

yet the stage is merely a stage without the performance -a fake source of entertainment.

Do people use introspective plays to create artificial, imperfect complacency

and therefore use their curtains to reveal ingenuine emotion?

But what is the emotion?

What is the performance?

Better yet, what is the difference?

One may never find the answer to this unless all pull down their curtains to dicover what truly lies beyond it.
