Cradle memories

Sat, 01/18/2014 - 14:49 -- JesVan

Big eyes shining like the moon in the sea

glistening with majestic wonders and beauty;

skin of porcelain, fragile feather touches, kisses by clouds

softness of petals and an warm ember's glow.

Twinkling laughter of a hummingbird's wings,

fluttering home back to me.

Small little thing, growing by every second of the day,

gaining strength with every breath you intake,

becoming more marvelous with each pasisng night.

Cuddly, lovely, perfect, and true,

small enough to hold close,

big enough to stand alone,

i love you.

Growing so fast this time is sweet,

before to long you will be bigger;

yet forever  you will remain my baby.
