Left and right I feel offended

because in the shadows and undetected

are words that pierce and are directed

at my womanhood and role that society elected 

When I walk near men I feel inspected 

it's not their fault, they are infected

the way they're raised their behavior expected 

they were taught they should be respected 

by woman like me but it should not be reflected 

their responsibility to respect rejection is known but normally neglected 

I do not believe women are protected

from the hands and entitlement that men erected

our gender, to be abused, is selected

and this, with the issue of sexual assault, is connected
