Colors Unite

Location

Time flies by and it’s still the same,
So many victims and everyone’s to blame.

Red, white, blue, yellow, gold, and black;
A melting pot of colors and it’s ready to crack.

Common as a cold,
It’s careless and bold.

It shapes who we are,
Like the sky that holds the stars.

We see the apple but not the core,
The surface is spotted and nothing more.

People take chances, judgment within glances.

Their eyes hold the hurt, while their faces are covert.

If only we noticed that this dollop of difference is what makes us the same
There would be no more wrongdoings and no more pain.
