The Colors of Me

I am red.

From the sun beating down on my white skin.

I am pink.

After being embarrased by my peers.

I am blue.

When the snow begins to fall around my feet.

I am green.

While feeling sick during a cold winter night.

I am Me.

You see my blue eyes.

You see my freckles on my nose.

You see the slight redness of my cheeks.

Behind a filter,

I am grey.

I am black.

I am rainbow

I am an edit.

No longer myself.

The colors of me

are what I want people to see.

Not the colors of technology.

The Colors of Me.
