Cloud Memories
New light shines
in the blue sky
No confines
No clouds that cry
But soon they come
Unknown where from
Beginning the storm
Gathering in alarm
Clouds grow and topple
Building and swirling
Their ink blots the sun
And scribbles across the sky
Growing, brewing
Brewing, growing
Expanding beyond horizons
Massive, laden
Their essence floods
The earth below them
Unaware of what it is
They are without plight
But they have forgotten
The new day’s light
And they would have gotten
The warning sooner
Before they too
Though they grew like a tumor
Would disappear out of the blue.
