Cliche
Validate me,
Make me feel heard
Once i had fallen into the everlasting trap of being the blonde stereotype, nobody took me seriously. I was a ditz, a blonde, a body, a smile, a projection of what others had felt the need to tell me that i was. Never was I intellectual. Never wise. Never human. Never heard.
When i had realized what i had happened i did everything in my power to change the perception that once was. I became reserved and died my hair black. I contradicted the stereotype with every waking moment and every ounce of my body. After everything, I was still just that girl nobody would ever have the audacity to listen to.
I still just want to be heard.
Validated.
