In Clear View
The black device in my hands,
Clicks and shutters with each snap.
It sees the world for what it truly is,
A still of beauty entrapped.
The deafening silence of the morn’,
As waves lap at my feet,
The day is yet to be born,
Whilst I gaze upon the sea.
The breeze whispers hello,
As I walk along the beach.
The sun rises all aglow,
As seagulls caw and screech.
The day lasts an eternity,
But for this my work is through.
Photos of sunrise and sunset, flaming trees, and more,
My footprints linger in the sand, as the moon shines anew.
