A Christmas Trance

The snow falls,

a blanket of white

a cover of black.

Two lovers stroll

hands clasped and eyes locked.

Lost in a world of magic.

They are one;

completely surrendering

their hearts and souls speak.

Content with one another,

untroubled by reality,

untouched by time.

They start to enter,

a simple sweet place

they call home.

And on the doorway

was the mistletoe,

glowing with the moonlight.
