A Child's Mother

I looked at the stars, found them pretty, they seem so far I looked furthermore, looked outside, parks, in a store  I sat down on a chair, after looking everywhere I started looking more, even checked upstairs  I asked a police chief, and I asked a local mayor I asked an Ice Cream man, selling Ice Cream in a fair  I asked a little boy who was playing with his toy I asked a little girl having fun full of joy  I asked a postman then a fishing fisherman I asked a plumber, an electrician putting a fan  I asked a waitress, a queen even a kingall were silent a moment, then they begin to sing Do not look furthermoreNo need to check a store  you have been looking everywhere you must be tired, not fair  It is not over there, it is not upstairs they sang very clear, it is your mother dear
