Changing Me

Location

If I could change the world.

What would I change?

I'd change the moon

Make it's footprint big enough to see

Or have it shine a brighter white to make the snow look dark.

How about the rain?

A light drizzle to a medium downpour

with the smell of petrichor shifting through the wind

Pit Pat Drip Drop Swoosh Swoosh Swoosh.

Maybe I'd change the sun.

Make it shine forever on even the dimmest of days

Have it's rays lift the drooping flowers

or warm the skin on a childs bare face

I'd change the buildings

Too many to count

All so beautiful

but replaced what used to be the greenest grass

The birds would always sing

The clouds always fluffy and pure

The ocean waves cheerful and calm

If only I could change the world.

I'd make it in my image.
