The Cathartic Storm

I go outside and the thunder expresses my anguish. The rain embodies my tears. The lightening is the passion inside my heart. It's liberating to discover something so much like yourself. I bathe in its beauty and relinquish the thought of danger. How can something so stunning be harmful? As the storm roars around me, I give up my emotion and dance. I dance in the rain. The thunder, lightening and rain cleanse my broken soul. They are instruments to my cathartic song. Each one signifying my torment. As the storm begins to cease and the rain, a quite pitter patter. I am happy. As the storm departs so does my anguish and tears. I am happy again. Until the next storm comes, I will dream about dancing in the rain.
