Cancer

It can turn a beautiful and bright creation into a dark and crippled ruin

It strips away ones will to live

Effortlessly eating away at a harmless vessel that contained a soul that was meant to live

Not die

It slowly gives people hope

Yet takes it away from those who have suffered from loss

Giving many an unpleasant surprise

They question what they have done wrong to  deserve such pain and Agony

Hiding this huge skeleton trying to shove it in a closet that’s just too small

In worries of people you love being stripped of their innocence to such pain and abhorrent misery

being unable to elongate the amount of time the secret was hidden

It was finally freed and proceeded to spread the innervation of despair

Sadness circling around a soul that had yet to be touched by darkness

Sitting in awe staring at the sky in which you believed there was a lord watching down at you

But at that moment, you didn’t think there was

Your face blank

But Inside your mind you are screaming and crying

Clawing at the walls

pleading and begging to be let out of what was thought to be a dream

But a despairing reality
