I have to say that I do hear you. I hear all of it as clear as day. I feel like a lot of people don't hear that and, in that, don't worry about suicide, at least not like I do. I really like the structure as it provides more evidently that divide between what they see and what we see as those feeling such. Very true, very real, and very well-written.
