Bye
Bye
Blankets-dark
Cradle me.
Singing
me to sleep.
Emptiness bores
Into me.
Burrowing
a tunnel with no walls.
Shadows-thick
Envelop me.
Weaving
a world without me.
Death-creeping
Whispers me.
Gusting
a sorrow-air.
Water-clear
Laps at me.
Flying
a loss penetrating me.
Walls-dotted
Circle me.
Screeching
sounds- on-blank for me.
An arrow of light
stabs through my heart.
Life
for me to grasp.
Other bows are brandished
Hope
for me to drink.
Eyes-closing
Save me.
Hiding
me from
them.
