Burning
It started with a kiss, something magical and great
Yet, quickly turned into a barrel of hate.
Avoidance of each other, so vile
And arguments for miles and miles.
A bright love now flickering dim,
Nothing can bring back the feeling from within.
Everyone has their story of warning
About a love that is no longer burning,
Left to find the better half
Of a soul needing to find a laugh.
It started with a kiss and ended with a tear,
For now both are free to live without fear.
