BROKEN EYES

YEARS AND YEARS AGO

I SAW HIM

A BOY WITH BROWN EYES

EYES LIKE A WORLD FULL OF CHOCOLATES

EYES LIKE WINDOWS

EYES WITH COMFORT

EYES IN WHICH I CAN SEE MY ENTIRE WORLD REVOLVE

BUT THOSE EYES ALSO HAD A TINGE

A TINGE OF BETRAYAL

A BITTER BETRAYAL THAT I HAD TO TASTE

YEARS AND YEARS AFTER

I SAW HIM

THE SAME BOY WITH THOSE EYES

EYES FULL OF PAIN

EYES WITH HURT

EYES WITH REGRET

EYES BEGGING FOR FORGIVENESS

BUT AGAIN THOSE EYES HAD A TINGE

THIS TIME A TINGE OF LOVE

AND I DEFINITELY HAD TO TASTE IT
