Exhale the existence of your being,

Breathe in the fire of your passion,

Only to exhale the clouds of your dreams,

Watch as they manifest

Into a physical being,

Breathe in virtue,

Exhale poison,

Exhale hate and guilt,

 

Free your hate

Free your guilt

Free yourself,

 

Because guilt,

Is only for the strong,

The strong willed

And strong minded,

Guilt,

Is not meant for the weak,

It will eat at the mind

It will plague your soul,

It is the very essence

of what causes sorrow,

 

Mind not the pain though,

Mind not the scars that follow,

It will only happen again, and again, and again,

Compassion,

Is measured by the depths of your sorrow,

 

Feel compassion for the fallen,

Because you have once seen the darkest of holes,

You have felt the worms crawl over your body,

As you lay awake in your own bed,

You have watched the as stars dim,

And colors fade

 

Breathe compassion for the weak,

Because you have felt the burden of the world,

You have watched

Beggars reach out their hands,

Just as you once did,

Charlatans seek to blind your eyes

and liberate your stuffed pockets,

Just like how you cheated the world,

 

Witness compassion for the broken,

Broken in the mind,

Broken in the soul,

And the broken beyond all saving,

Because you have lost your mind,

Once,

You have killed your soul,

Once,

You have been broken beyond repair,

Once,

 

You are still broken,

The mask you wear is forged from the pieces

That do not fit,

Yet you still tell the world your lies,

 

I see you’re missing pieces,

I see the broken pieces you tried to mend,

I see the hole left in your chest,

I see the child behind the mask

Screaming for release,
