Breakthrough

It's a raging battle inside of me

My wants and needs taking separate feet
My decisions are levered
My intentions are severed

A deceiving hope sits and preys on his host
My thoughts are devoured by predetermined jolts

Unfathomable malfunction between my mind and my flesh
My soul wants out, but my body just won't refresh
I'm letting go of this incoherent mess
Oh I am blessed

Inception is blinded by past desire
Reception is reminded of familiar wire

This ground is a battle zone
I'm creeping through mind bombs waiting to postpone
What means of life I've got clinging to my bone

I'm not worried 'cause I've got you here so close

My very breath falters
My perception is misconstrued
I'm crawling to the alters
Praying for a break through.
