Blind

Glass shatters on the floor
Her heart finally gave up
The pain she felt lifted
She took her last breath
Her eyes closed shut

No one knew or understood
Yet they were at fault
They took her life last night
Careless and confused
Their life came to a halt

Poor girl, she had it coming
She felt this for so long
It finally happened
She just gave up
All she left behind was a song

They loved her writing
More than she did her own
The pages were never shared
The words were never spoken
All she wrote in the book was alone
