Black Lamb, Black Sheep

Location

Black lamb, black sheep

In the shadows you hide.

Your insecurity is prevalent

even through your downcast eyes.

I see through your façade

Black Lamb, black sheep.

Your masquerade will not suffice.

Prejudiced eyes distinguish the disguised.

While you’re a misfit

You are not alone.

Black lamb black sheep,

inequity exists between us all.

We are all judged

You are not unique

In every soul resides a

black lamb, black sheep.
