Black

Such darkness,

her face streaked black.

Such lonliness,

her breast against thigh.

Her lips stained red,

as her arms, her fingers...

Despair is such a beautiful color:

a deep, haunting red.

A single drop pierces your memory,

lingering as it bleeds through your thoughts.

Yet love, recognizeable by the same?

But love bleeds black...

Once broken, evil...

Destructive, cruel,

black as night..

And such darkness,

such lonliness,

alone.

*For my best friend and for those who harm, for sadness is the scariest, and most destructive creature of all.
