An obstetrician has a lot on their plate

Responsible for bringing in lives

But I know this is my fate

People say I’m crazy

Because of the amount of school

Also the debt

Ill end up in too

But I still study hard

And strive to succeed

Being the first person to go to college

In my family

My determination for this job

Is so strong

Because it could change my life

I know it’s where I belong

Having a Doctorate by the end of my journey

Will show all of those doubters

I am worthy

Obstetricians are courageous for what they do

Without them

Arriving in this world

Would be a hard task to go through

I want to make an impact in this world

What better way to do so

Than to bring in your baby boy or girl
