Bending

I could, but do not, break

I could bend under the pressure

I could give up and sit down, exhausted

I could sleep for days and refuse to try

I could give in to the urge and let myself relax

I could finally rest and close my eyes

I could lett all the hard work I've put in fall away

I could stop pushing myself

I could only do the bare minimum

I could, but do not, break.
