Behind the curtain is a voice : "Red Alert"
Hidden behind my silent smile I stand aware.
Encourage the abuse of the tortured? I don’t dare.
But
I stare, and cry internally,
Yearn forever,
For the world to shine starry bright and tremble never.
But the plight of hunger never seems to subside,
A Golden world
Without bombs booming and children’s need to hide.
Without desperate struggle to become utopias
I, though American, feels drowned in dystopia.
The disease of war that frets and torments the innocent,
So much discontent,
My body is bursting and ready to vent!
