Because I Believed

The doctors said I couldn't.

They said that I wouldn't.

Never acheive my dreams.

What they didn't know,

Is the tears I did show.

Whenever I was alone,

Only my family did know.

This is my life and my dreams.

My mind wondered like a stream,

Flowing and winding my hopes.

Throwing them into the open.

Tossing them like the ocean.

Until I picked them up.

I filled my cup.

With dreams and hopes,

Despite what they say,

Because I believed,

I found a way,

I achieved !
