The beautifulest of all

Maybe it was the way she took care

of me with love, as if I would break

Maybe it was the way she would tend my clothes with such willingness,

allthough being sick

Maybe it was the way she talked to me in such a sweet voice,

like a the melody of the chimes being blown by the wind

Maybe it was the way she hugged me when she saw me

Maybe it was the effort she made to walk, talk, cook, while suffering

Maybe it was the way she smiled at me,

such a lovely smile, one that lightened my heart

Maybe it was the way her curly hair resembled mine

Maybe it was her lovely soul, her kindness, friendliness

It was the way she loved me, it was the way she embraced me after years

It was the way she she took care of me, it was the way she held me tight

It was her..... MY GRANDMA

A rose, a beautiful flower

The flower that stood out the most

It was her my grandma a beautiful butterfly, that spread her wings and flew

Who lived a good life, deserved the best, who was loved a lot.

Who left many heart broken, weeping, with an empty space in their heart

And who will be missed and always be loved

It was the way she loved me, it was the way she embraced me after years

It was the way she held me tight, it was her...

My grandma
