Basketball Captain

One step at a time

Just to keep it moving

Look at me, calm down

Take a deep breath, they’re not worth it

Bounce the ball a few more times

Drive in and take your shot

Just a few seconds left

I have to tell them it's okay

That’s my job, I’m their captain

Breathe in, breathe out

HANDS UP, BACK ON D

Don’t worry, next time

Just don’t give up

Let’s go, ready

5...4...3...2...

SHOOT IT

1...BEEP

And it's a

FINAL BUCKET

WE DID IT

Line up lets go

Show good sportsmanship, we gave it our all

Ready! Jaguars on me, Jaguars on 3

1! 2! 3! JAGUARS

I put my hand on her shoulder

You did great out there

Her bright smile is returned

That’s what I do

I’m their captain
