Autumn II

Summer’s curse has thus hardened my soul

To the conceptions lovely Spring had bestowed

I long for Autumn’s calm wind and idle thought

Untainted by reality and the dull of this world

As the leaves begin to fall

My paper heart strings are set

Doors to my lost world reopened

I am queen again

My people rejoice at my return

I am happy again

Winter fell,

And I finally thawed.
